The Nepal Academy of Music and Drama, in collaboration with the National School of Drama (NSD) from New Delhi, India, successfully hosted a six-day joint theatre festival. The event took place at the Rashtriya Nachghar in Jamal, Kathmandu, showcasing six outstanding theatrical productions three from each nation.

The festival served as a vital platform for cross-border cultural exchange, allowing directors, actors, and technicians from both countries to share methodologies and artistic visions. The closing ceremony was attended by high-ranking diplomats and cultural experts, who emphasized that such festivals strengthen the "soft power" and age-old cultural ties between Nepal and India.
